We like to think that we are very versatile at The
Globe.
At the start of every day, our chefs prepare
fantastic regional breakfasts for our residents. By lunchtimes, we
are busy serving light bar lunches as well as bigger meals in the
restaurant, while in the evening the Elizabethan Restaurant becomes
one of Topsham’s best places for a night of truly excellent food
and wine. James devises a creative and satisfying seasonal three-course
table d’hote menu that changes
weekly depending on what is freshest and best. Meanwhile, we might
also be preparing a buffet in the Maltroom, or catering for a private
party, while our roast Sunday lunches are always popular. And then
there are our special events, such as evenings around our courtyard
wood-fired oven and special wine dinners with Club
Vino.
Our talented and enthusiastic kitchen team is led by James
Clark,
Head Chef, assisted by David ‘Sprout’ Parker, Second Chef, and Damien
Spinks, Chef, who all work incredibly hard to ensure that everything
we serve is top notch.
We have an equally fantastic front-of-house team that serves our
guests and customers efficiently and cheerfully.
The Café Restaurant Globe is the best-kept
